Abstract

TB is the most prevalent endemic disease in the world. Involvement of the central nervous system occurs in 10-15% of patients with tuberculosis. Mainly it affects the meningeal membranes, brain and spinal cord, rarely they have been described in the literature. We presented the case of a male patient 24 years old, with clinical of one-year evolution, characterized by paresthesia, paresis, and seizures. Imaging studies revealed multiple cortical lesions with enhancement giral. The final diagnosis was cerebritis and multifocal CNS tuberculoma.
