Use of sertaline in the treatment of social phobia

Abstract

The author discusses the general notion and symptoms of a phobia. He analyses the case of a patient treated dueto social anxiety. There was a number of educational mistakes made in the course of up-bringing. The patient was examined through personal psychiatric examination and using the Liebowitz Social Anxity Scale. Multiple additional tests were performed. The discussion covered patient’s treatment using Sertaline. The author of the article has treated several persons suffering from social anxiety using Pregahalin. The therapy provided satisfactory therapeutic effects.
